I recommend...

In the vacations I am useful of all reads magazine and book crosses me. In two summers ago behind I remember well-read credit a book that has 557 pages and that me delays in reading only 4 nights. This book it’s called “The Da Vinci Code”. 

I started reading it for that they all were commenting on the book and I tape-worm the doubt of knowing like was. I give it to myself a friend (to whom even I do not return it) to read it during the summer, due to the fact that it(he) was very long.

When I began to read the history (that I suppose already they all know) it started me being interested increasingly.

 It is the alone well-read one 1 time for which later it loses the grace since I know the end, but of all forms I saw the movie that was done of the book and I prefer the book of all forms, though they summarize the movie very well what happens in the book.

 The da Vinci code speaks to us about a society there secretes which seeks to protect the Holy Grail that is sought by certain groups that they want to destroy or to conceal it in order that the "supposed" truth is not revealed. The search of the Holy Grail and everything what this carries this one inside the book which integrates it with enough suspense.

What the f... is Sri Lanka?????

I like this theme, the trips, especially for that to me.  I would be charmed with travelling on many places. 

A favorite places I like is the Asian southeast and all cities and countries in these parts, in special Sri Lanka. This country likes me because is a mix of the beautiful places and culture, (very different the culture in Chile). Is a god place for To know other ways of living and behaviors of the society together with one landscape full of a biodiversity known for my. Without leaving of side the beauty of her beaches and that these has a few several degrees more of temperature unlike the beaches of Chile. 

I like to go with someone who also likes these places and this is a good company for the trip (in a good Chilean "que sea motivao") so we can go all corners of the country. I had never even bothered to travel alone, but within the context of travel by other unknown locations it is best to be accompanied by security. 

I hope I can do this trip at some point of my life, so take off for the win and have a very good memory of those places and if I make a tour across Asian southeast would be much better ....

I like to take photographies and also to be photographed, for that like that there remain registered the different moments for which we happen, and especially if these moments are entertained (situation that is given, especially, in the areas of our class).

This photo is of our field trip of Chile  2, in the Huasco, in the north of Chile, third region. In this one we appear all that we were for there, only the uncles are absent chauffeur and the aunt of the camping, that to all that and by one strange game of the destiny was called Las Pircas jajajajajaj.

I like this photo for that in spite of working very much and being very tired of all forms are happy and one sees it in the photo. Besides everything we pass it very well and share very much .... in the nights when was all together for that in the day us divide in groups to be going to work....

Of all forms in the day I was entertaining much with the Paula, since was join almost the whole moment treating of doing the use of soil of Freirina and when also we went to Chañaral.

So that is the photograph I like very, very, very… much.

The Field Trip of the Comandosfera …

A notable field trip was that of Alhue, a time ago behind (I do not remember well the date), for “Gestion Integrada de Cuencas”. This area is in the south-west of the Metropolitan region of Santiago. Perhaps this field trip was the most distant, neither the tipsiest, nor the most entertaining, but the fieldwork that we develop was the one that more me has pleased all.

I was with my classmates. But we divide in groups of work like that that with that more I shared was with them, the Jaimen, Cata, Nati, Chilombiano, Felipe, Montes, Frodo, Napo, Jesus, Hector and me ... we are the group of the “Fisiosfera”, but due to the acts of infiltration and assault to the enemy we happen to be the “Comandosfera” jejejejje… Our mission was "to "hunt" samples that they were allowing us to know if our enemy, in this case the Miner La Florida, was contaminated the waters of the tideland of the locality.... Now this weekend we have a new mission for this village and your conflict with the miner, like that that "we" must "hunt" samples of other sectors our discharges to compare and to do them against the already notable enemy!!!!!

This it is the history and the work of concealed agent I like much like that that because of it I enjoys it so much.... I was feeling in my sauce and it is what I would like to do all my life :P

Since your already you know my name is Johana (not Johanna jejejeje) but my friends call me Jhoy. I’m study Geography in the Universidad de Chile. Because your fault I had to change one of my posts that already had done (naaa it’s a joke). You correct me the post of Fiestas Patrias.

I write this post to know yourself, because besides your name I don’t know anything more. You might tell me it brings over of your studies .... Which are your studies?, What is the time go studying it?, In that year of your studies these?, etc. The reason of this post is to know your life (studies, life, hobbies, etc) besides the corrections that you do to my post. And, may be, you can help me more in my English, not only in the corrections (that in any case one has been alone, jajajajaja).

About the error correction activity, initially I didn’t understand the meaning of the corrections (ww, wo, f, etc) and I had to send a mail to Simon in order that he was saying to me that it was meaning every thing. In spite of it I believe that it is a very good complementary experience of the knowledge.

Stonehenge

This one is a construction that dates back to the age of stone. Stonehenge was used as cemetery from her construction up to her final abandon, about the half of the third millennium A.C. The remains of cremations of the epoch in the one that was constructed are only a part of the opposing ones and they would belong to this late period, demonstrating that the place was a site reserved to the dead men.

I use it very often, usually when I go out with my friends to have fun any bar, travel or some important event with my family, friends or loved ones.

Why you like it?
I love taking pictures! and remember important moments that I have lived with family and friends, in addition to capture images of beautiful landscapes that I had with my fellow students in different places in my country.

What life would be like with out it?
It is very important everyday life, not to be left without her, to take all sides, I believe that my dream is be photographer someday.

The Lord of the Rings

I like the movie the Lord of the Rings, this movie will premiere in our country makes to 7 years ago, I love this movie!!!
I had read the books, the movie is based on them.

The first time I saw 7 years ago was back in the avant premier, I was waiting for that day. I was very excited!!!

I saw at the cinema with my all my family and then went back to see the movie with my boyfriend this time, after I saw at my house on dvd.

What the story is about (write a brief synopsis of the plot)
The action is set in Middle-earth, and follows the adventures of a group of Hobbits, Elves, Men, Dwarves and Wizards that make up The Fellowship of the Ring.
They embark on a journey to destroy the One Ring, created by The Dark Lord Sauron, and thus ensure their annihilation.
The movie is divided into 3 parts, one called the Fellowship of the Ring, the second part called the two towers and the third and last part of the trilogy called The Return of the King.
Each part of the movie lasts 3 hours, 9 hours are if you see the 3 completes.
The actors in the film represent very well the role of the character, such as one which you imagine in the book.

The typical Chilean things are “Fondas”, places where people re-join to enjoying(f) "healthily" the native celebrations(wo) (or places where one gives the “destruction, destruction, destruction .... or not Catalina???). Also there are typical drinks, as “terremoto”(f), “piscolas”, “pipeños”, “chicha”, etc. The food is different too; we eat more meat in the roast, “anticuchos”, “empanadas”…. Also typical games exist (ww+wo), since(ww) elevates the “volantin” (okay can be a nuisance (ww+ wo)), the “trompo”, the “rayuela” and several more.

When I was a little girl we were going out (wt) to visit our family in the field, and I play(vt) with my cousins to different typical or not typical games, the important thing was to play. Meanwhile my parents were preparing the typical food, we had a few brief familiar vacations.(f)

Nowadays, I stay in Santiago alone, because my family was(vt) travelling to the field and I have to work in a “Fonda” in Santiago, in the Estacion Mapocho. My work is by night, start (f) at 20 o’clock and finish (f) at 5 o’clock. But it will be very entertaining since it will be a very entertaining environment and (something missing here) musical dance groups.

I don’t have a favourite 18, because all of them are very funny and enjoyment (ww). I hope that this 18 also it’s(f)(is what?you need to say something else here).

Abstract: The desertification and the water.

The problematic ones generated due to the climatic change take as a direct effect the desertification of extensive areas of the world, which in turn transforms in a problem of water shortage.

But the desertification and the water shortage for if alone they do not mean the major problem, but the salinización of the poco waters down that it is staying implies the major problem.

Also it hopes that in order century the temperature in the deserts was increasing between 5 to 7 degrees Celsius. Increasing this way the area of the deserts bringing them over to the cities.

The problem of the desertification product of the climatic change is a really important topic, which must think with enough care.

Mmmm… really, it is a difficult topic. I hope, in five years more, to be employed at what I like and at what I am good, as a geographer. Also I want have a good salary for have a good vacations and give me a good life jejejejeje.

In five years more I hope had a good job, in that it could travel for many places of all the word (or the Chile). My salary me will spend everything in travelling, I live with them just and necessary.

In five more years I do not meet in an established place, less with family (except the one that already I have) I believe that I’m a free person who was walking across, working and doing interesting things. Such you see mix the geography with another activity that promotes my interests and my desire to travel, maybe ... work for the NatGeo jejejejej.

I really want be a cool person, my personal life not this life focused towards being with someone but to being happy, of the form that is. Probably in eight more years it might be...

About my English?

Hi!!!


I began to learn English in the school; there they taught me from First Basic English, together with Spanish. But in this alone moment they were teaching basic things to me until was learning a bit more of my native language. I don’t remember the one who was my first teacher, because I had many teachers of English in my school (since 1st basic to my last year in the school).

Really, I like learn English, and other languages too, because is interesting know others peoples of different countries, also I can to read or to heard many films, text, videos, songs, etc. and to understand what they say. Sometimes to learn English it was difficult, because the words have a new meaning or have other order.

In the school I was one of the best pupils in the English class (obvious … a winner), but I lost the practise, in addition I take a one year sabbatical, It did that part was losing of my knowledge in English. Actually I try to recover my level of English, because that I believe that I am a persevering learner, since I assume my mistakes and I them try to correct and perfect my vocabulary.

I find easy about learning English is the grammatical part, ever I had the capacity of arrange the sentences (be in English or Spanish), I don’t know the reason. Also is easy learn English because is a language very expanded in the word, very spread, doing it more easily to know. On the other hand, the most difficult is the conjugation and speak in English, because I know many words but when I try to say this I can’t remember them.

I don’t know the English culture, but I believe that I’m influenced by certain stereotypes about of this culture, such as the fact of being too serious (except Simon =/). But I prefer don’t do any commentary.

The learn English is very useful for my life. I have some friends who speak English and like that I can communicate better with them and in addition I am useful of practising. Also in the parties I can speak with many peoples of different countries.

My name is Johana Marchant, but all my friends call me Jhoy. I’m 23 years old (in the flower of
the life, jajajaja). I was born in Cabildo, a little town in the V Region of Valparaiso, near of La Ligua. It’s a very rural place; I lived there up to my first birthday (approximately). After that we went away to living to Valparaiso, with the family of my Dad. I lived in Valparaiso approximately three years. Finally my dad, my mom and me us came to Santiago and since that moment I have lived in different places of the city, now I live in the “rur-urban” of Santiago.

Actually my family is: Mom called Maria, my Dad Edgardo, my little sister Isidora, my other sister Jocelyn and me, I’m the major sister. My dog escaped one day and sometimes it returns to visit itself.

I have some hobbies …. the dance (I’m the dancer, but the problem to the column does not leave me to practise like before), the painting, the sport, the food …. “ñamiiii” jajajaja and I love sleep. Also I like do my own clothes (jackets, trousers, t-shits, etc)

In the academic filed, I study Geography; I stay in 4th year of my career, and soon I will have to do the practice. I’m a very nervous about my future, because of that I prefer not speaking about it (though I have my confidence great). I like all fields of the geography and I like work to something in relation with the environment or the physical geography (always considering the human side).

The last post!!!!

This is the last post in English (for the class, I hope jajajaj) … really I like this activity, because is very dynamic and creative, because I have to find a way to express myself in English, without any help. I like every activity; perhaps the problems with the setting of my blog were the only thing that bothered me.

I think that the blogging in English helped me to expand my vocabulary, and share with my classmates new words. Also this way for learning is much more entertaining to be in class. I have much fun doing this blog, and I think it’s a very good and novel way to learn English

Out of all the post I did was, my favourite is the famous person would you like to know. Because I write only ironies very funny, I really wanted to know not to Paris, but didn’t know about that character to write because my life isn’t important for me to someone else jajajaja.

On the other hand, the post I least liked was the website of the BBC, because whilst I was looking at it I missed several times. But this website is very interesting, only I missed in this websites and all pages its component. Actually is a foolish thing, but something had to write all the post, but I would have liked.

The best blog in the class is my blog, clearly, jajajaja. Because I did it according to my preferences and tastes. The only blog I like is the Maira’s blog, because is very similar to my blog the colours, the font, the format, all is very similar to my blog. The most beautiful of the Maira’s blog is that she has very beautiful photos. But even so I keep saying that the best blog is mine …. Jajajajjaja

I like the geography ... and what???

I never decided study Geography. When I left school and the PSU took and finally I had my results in this moment I started thinking about that study. According my interests the Geography was what I like most, because I don’t like themes related whit the blood, such as medicine, veterinary, for example. So … that the Geography is a subject ideal.

In 10 years more I create the International Organization of Geography, and I will be the president, then all other geographers will be my subordinates. Besides having to give me 10% of their salary for my accreditation. I will be the boss of all of you.

The Geographers know many themes, because that they have a good knowledge base for integrating all the variables that may affect our planet. For that reason the geographers can save the planet.

The technology brings to every moment new tools for the exercise of the Geography. Elements such as GPS are indispensables for the work in all areas, for example. Maybe in the future new element will be indispensables for the Geography.

In the Geography, my favorite subject is the physical area, such the study of the earthquakes, volcanoes and all kind of natural phenomena. Really, I don’t have any type of subject under special, but that type of the Geography is that I like.

Well, I would like to know Paris Hilton (she is wonderful) and become her friend, to give me some “lukitas” jejejeje. Clearly, a friendship would be a nonprofit; it’s only pure friendship… disinterested.

I love her personality … she has done many interesting videos, you can find in a very websites (of doubtful reputation), because that she is a great actress who represents life from her perspective. Also, she is a multifaceted girl; Paris has released her album and too has a program in television, because her achievements she is a very famous in all the word.

With Paris, my personal friend, we would travel around the world, she would invite me and she would pay all my expenses, all the foregoing by the modest sum of my friendship jajjajaja. Also, I would have everything that I wanted.

We would be the world's best friends, inseparable (in specially me of her).

The web site of the BBC has a site for learn English. The web site contains many different tools for the learning of the English since audiovisual tools such images and videos. This site helps you improve you vocabulary and better understand what is heard in English.

You can practice with the reading the news of the word in different years or the news about Britain. The section of the grammar and vocabulary help you in more technical aspects of the language. Also, the site has quizzes and exams for know you level of the English
Other section is the “Business English”, in this part you can exercise the English a entertaining way. You can since get job in English until do business negotiations.And have tools for teachers of English, where he reviewed more profound aspects of English.

I can finally say that this is a very interesting site for practice the English, where many people of different nationalities can learning English. Also you can practise the English with these other peoples.

Yessss now!!!! A song in English

I don’t have a favourite song and not hear a lot of music in English, so it’s in a little hard to have a favourite song in English jajajaj, but whitin the song that I like moore this one PapaNegro, a Chilean group musical, their too have songs in English.


My favourite song, in this case, called “Soul on Attack”, I hear the fisrt tieme in a concert… I don’t remember where, perhaps in the Hall of the “SCD”. This time was great, very funny and enJOYment very much. This theme is a little slower, but with the same energy that every songs.
PapaNegro have a music style defined with a Funk, but also combine notes of the Soul and R&B, it,s a type of music very danceable and enJOY jajajajajaj….


Since I heard PapaNegro I liked their songs and rhythms so cheerful, because that I decided to buy all his records avilables and started to listen to all the issues an found some in English that I loved and this is one of them …. The better is the music, but at the moment I can only leave it to the lyric of the song….

A "Cool" Place

I love it.... from the first moment I arrive at this place.

This is Lican Ray, little town in the south of Chili ... it's in the Region of the Araucania, near to Temuco, very close to Villarica and Pucon. This within the area of lakes.

I know this place from the vacation with my family .... we went touring in the south. We stayed for a month for this places. We love this place because is a very quiet and also has a very nice (and security) lake, special for my little sister, she had 4 years old. Also too have many nature for arround and activites in this. Can be many sports and activites.

When I was there I did a lot things ... some of there were swim in the lake, riding a horse, play a paintball an canopy, touring neraby towns and eat a lot of food form the area, for the example the Jabali, between in the other things.

I recommended that travel to this town ... I'm sure to will like it (have a beautiful view of the volcano Villarica)
